Feel free

Hello creative friends.
I am sharing my new project with you all
as Design Team member for 13arts ~
a bright canvas featuring some of the
February products of the month including the
Carmen collection as well as other accessories,
together with together with 13arts mixed
media products and mediums.

I prepared the top section of the background
of my canvas by first painting it with white
gesso and then mixing pink Color Glows
to acrylic medium, painting stripes
onto the canvas, adding more powder to
darken the medium so that I would
get a contrast between the colours.

Once the stripes were dry, I mixed
texture powder to modeling paste and added
this between the pink stripes, allowing it
to dry for the cracks to form.

I adhered pink paper from the Carmen
collection at the bottom of my canvas,
tearing some extra pieces and adding them
above the pink paper.

I then stenciled onto the bottom as well as
the top sections of my canvas.

I painted my resin embellishments with
black gesso and then, once dry, I painted
them with gold shiny powder added
to acrylic medium.

The owl was painted with white gesso
and then, once dry, I painted it with green
Color Glow added to acrylic medium.

I added flowers and other embellishments
to my canvas, lightly brushing them with
white gesso once I was complete.

Thanks for stopping by!

Journey

Hello creative friends.
I am sharing my new project with you all
as Design Team member for 13arts ~
an earthy layout featuring the
beautiful Paint your Life collection
together with 13arts mixed media
products and mediums.

I prepared the background of my layout
by adding sticky glue along the lines
of the page and then, once sticky,
I added gilding flakes to the glue,
brushing off the excess once everything
was dry.

I painted the chipboard embellishments
with Golden Calcite Color Glow combined
with liquid medium.  Once that was dry,
I lightly brushed them with gold paint.

Other embellishments and splashes of
colour completed my layout.

Hope you get the opportunity to create
with these amazing 13arts products.

Full of Wonder

Hello creative friends.
I am sharing my a new project with you all
as Design Team member for 13arts ~
a mixed media wooden canvas featuring the
stunning new Grungy Winter collection
together with 13arts mixed media
products and mediums.

I prepared my canvas by first painting it
with white gesso.  I then stenciled onto the
centre of my project with a combination of
Labradorite Color Glow and modeling paste,
dragging the edges of the stenciling
downwards with my spatula.

Once everything was dry, I combined
texture powder and modelling paste
thoroughly and added this around the
edges of my project with a spatula,
not too thickly, but just thick enough for
deep cracks to form.

I then mixed Andalusite Color Glow
with water and added this colour to my
project, spraying with water and allowing
the colour to run from the top of the canvas
down towards the bottom.  I then dried
everything thoroughly before adding
any embellishments.

I painted chipboard pieces with
Andalusite Color Glow and then lightly
brushed them with silver paint.
I did the same with the resin frame.

Of course, I had to add splashes of paint
and ink to complete my project.

Thank you for stopping by.

Paint your Life

Hello creative friends.
I am sharing my first project for 2025 with you all
as Design Team member for 13arts ~
a mixed media wooden canvas featuring the
beautiful Paint your Life collection
together with 13arts mixed media
products and mediums.

I started my project by adhering paper from the
collection to my panel and then stenciled with
modeling paste, dragging my spatula
downwards from the stenciling
to soften the edges.

I then combined Golden Calcite
Color Glow with gel medium and
added stenciling around the edges
of the panel with my spatula,
using the same technique of
dragging the colour downwards.

I painted all chipboard as well as
resin embellishments with
black gesso.  I then mixed
Golden Calcite and Aventurine
Color Glows separately with
liquid medium.

I painted all resins and chipboard pieces
with Golden Calcite and then,
once they were dry, I lightly brushed the
chipboards here and there
with Aventurine.
I lightly brushed the resin pieces with
white gesso and then added some of the
Aventurine to them as well.

The copper pieces on my project
were a gold metallic sheet which I
painted with the Golden Calcite,
tearing pieces and adding them to my project.

Some splashes of white ink and other
colours used completed my project.

I hope that this project has inspired you.

Cherish this moment

Hello again creative friends.
I am sharing my new layout as
Design Team member for 2Crafty Chipboard
with you all today.

I altered my chipboard pieces by first
painting them with Sand paint and then,
once dry, I lightly brushed them with a
copper paint.  Once the copper paint
was dry, I lightly coloured certain elements
of the chipboard embellishments with
a blue paint.

I layered different ephemera together
with rub-ons to frame my photograph
and to establish my main composition.
Splashes of blue and copper ink completed
my layout.

I hope that this layout has inspired you.

Be amazing today

Hello creative friends.
I am sharing my new project as
Design Team member for 13arts with you
all today ~ a canvas using the Beautiful
Moments collection.

I tore and layered paper from the
collection and adhered them onto
my canvas, covering the paper at the
top with clear gesso.
I added stamping around the
edges of the top of the canvas.

I stenciled onto this paper and then,
once dry, I applied a mixture of modeling
paste with texture powder around the
edges with a spatula, allowing it to
dry completely so that the
cracks would form.

Once everything was dry, I added
Tiger Eye as well as Jadeite Color Glows
individually, spraying with water so that
the colour would move and drying
between each application.

Resin embellishments were painted with
Tiger Eye Color Glow with liquid acrylic
medium and then, once dry, were dry
brushed with white gesso.

I added elements from the cut-out sheet
together with flowers and other
embellishments.

I hope that this project has inspired  you.
